Dear Saint Valentine:
Thanks for giving me more than what I have expected for this Saint Valentine's weekend. Though I am single at the moment (don't be shy all Shaolin Wahnam Girls), I had the most amazing Saint Valentines ever. Sharing this beautiful weekend with such an amazing and warming family, that is Shaolin Wahnam School, is one of the best things that could have happened in such celebration.
My trip started in Heuston, the Dublin train station. My destination: Killarney. I knew that it was going to be an incredible weekend. I knew so because my past 4 courses, in presence of Sigung, were amazing too. What Sigung gives us is still a mystery for me. Not being able to explain what I feel with words means that, what we all feel in the courses, is something beyond words.
One of the things that I am most amazed of is about the Vigorous Chi Flow. Though, very often, we all have very physical manifestations, nobody, as far as I have seen, has ever been hurt. Taking into account that some people run all over the room, some others hit the ground with the head, some others act like a gorilla in a Hollywood movie, that surprises me most. That is one proof that we are in presence of a great and genuine master.
Another thing that amazes me is the incredible, welcoming and warming smile that Sigung always has. I believe Sigung is travelling 9 months a year all around the globe. Whenever I imagine myself taking so many flights (most of them are really long), suffering from jet lag, different seasons and changing temperatures, hotels, beds, languages, being apart from his beloved family and so on, I just have a very deep feeling of gratitude towards him. He never stops smiling. That is another irrefutable proof that we are, again, in presence of a great and genuine master.
The last thing I will mention about Sigung is that he is a living example of what he teaches. In his own words: "I teach what I practice and I practice what I teach." We are in front of another proof of why we are in presence of a great and genuine master.
Whenever I share these courses with the Shaolin Wahnam family, I always feel like being at home. Though it is the very first time that I have attended to a course, here in Ireland, and I didn´t know anybody, I went back to Dublin with the feeling of belonging to this amazing Shaolin Wahnam Irish family. What Sigung has built all over the world is priceless.
I remember with special attention the last two chi kung flows in the Saint Valentines Course. Opening the heart with laughters and chants was a vital experience in life.
Thank you Sigung for coming to us, for your disponibility and for your kindness. Thank you Sifu Joan for all your help and your dedication. Thank you to all Shaolin Wahnam family for making me feel like at home. I can't wait for the next course. :-)
