HISTORY AND PHILOSOPHY OF
TI JIAO, OR KICKING LEG, OF WUZUQUAN
Grandmaster Wong demonstrated the deadly organ-seeking kick of Ti Jiao
Before I taught Wuzuquan in December 2012, I composed a set for kicking called Ti Jiao, or Kicking Leg. It followed the principles and structure of San Zhan, the fundamental set of Wuzuquan, and I added four kicking techniques, namely organ-seeking kick, thrust kick, side kick and sweeping kick.
These are the four principal kicks in kungfu. Principles like distracting an opponent before the kick, and covering his arms are incorporated. If an opponent kicks, a Wuzuquan exponent would know how to counter.
