GOLDEN THREAD HANGS GOURD
This was previously a secret page, taught in Bern in September 2011. The technique was also taught in the Special Chin-Na Course in Sabah in June 2008, and in the Essence of Shaolin Course in December 2017.
Chin-na, which is unique in kungfu, is different from holds and locks, to which "chin-Na" is sometimes translated. In a hold or a lock, when you release an opponent, he can fight you, but not in chin-na hecause his tendons would have been damaged, his joint dislocated, or his energy flow stopped.
The counter against "Golden Thread Hangs Gourd" shown in the video is "Angry Bull Charges at Fence".
