The Eighteen-Lohan Art is excellent for developing internal force, besides promoting good health, vitality and longevity. It can also leads to spiritual expansion.
Shaolin practitioners at the northern Shaolin Temple derived their internal force from this Eighteen-Lohan Art. They did not train any special arts like Iron Palm or Iron Arms as in southern Shaolin.
However, nowadays due to various reasons, the essence of this Eighteen-Lohan Art is almost lost. We are fortunate that we still have this invaluable art with us.
You can practice the Eighteen-Lohan Art in many ways. You may perform all the eighteen exercise one after another. You may choose any number of exercises in any order. Or you may practice just one exercise.
