FOUNDATION OF KUNGFU - FOOTWORK

Moving from the waist is an important principle in all kungfu, and is much emphasized in Taijiquan.
The term "mabo" is often heard in kungfu or wushu circles. Many people think that "mabo" refers only to stances, particularly the Horse-Riding Stance. Actually it refers to two aspects, "ma" and "bo", which means stances and footwork. The video clips below show some important lessons on footwork.
