SHAOLIN HAND FORMS
While many other martial arts use only the fist and the palm for their hand techniques, Shaolin Kungfu uses many hand-forms. Various types of fists as well as the Tiger Claw, the Dragon Hand Form, the Crane Beak, the Praying Mantis Hand and the Monkey Paw are shown. Different hand forms are used because they are particularly useful for particular targets.
Willow Leave Palm | Leopard Fist | One-Finger Zen |
Dragon Hand Form | Tiger Claw | Level Fist |
Vertical Fist | Phoenix-Eye Fist | Big Boss Fist |
Crane Beak | Mantis Hand | Monkey Paw |
