WHITE MONKEY HOLDS BRANCH AGAINST UNDERCUTS
Undercuts, or skyward cannon punches in Shaolin Kungfu, are powerful and are often used by Boxers. Although many people do not know how to deal with such attacks, it is actually quite simple. A key point is to follow the attacker's momentum. "White Monkey Holds Branch" is an excellent counter against the undercut. Notice that in applying this technique, you should grip the opponent's elbow to keep it in place, and not lift it up which would negate your leverage advantage.
