AVOID THE MISTAKE OF CONDITIONED BUT UNNECESSARY MOVING BACK
A common mistake many students make when facing a Boxer or any opponent is to retreat whenever an opponent makes a move. Many students have conditioned themselves to such a response. This results in giving the opponent the initiative. It also misses the golden opportunity of counter-striking before the opponent can recover from his first move. You should stay at your Bow-Arrow Stance, and make good use of body-movement to avoid the opponent's attacks and to counter-attack.
