Using minimum force to overcome an opponent's maximum strength
The use of minimum force to deflect powerful strikes from a Boxer was explained. The technique involved a deflecting, and not a blocking, movement. If the Boxer's attacks were close, you needed to sink your body to avoid the on-coming force. Then closed the opponent's arms to strike him.
