MOVEMENT COMES FROM THE WAIST

The movement of the hands is due to the rotation of the waist
The expression "movement comes from the waist" is often mentioned in Taijiquan training. Not many students, however, understand what this principle means. Actually the meaning is straight-forward. "Double Dragons Play with Pearl", which is one of the patterns in "Grasping Sparrow's Tail", illustrates this principle clearly.
